Physiotherapist:

Kirsty Nicol

I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. In 1995, I moved to Victoria for a summer adventure. I fell in love with the west coast and decided to stay here permanently. I attended the University of Victoria, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Sciences. In 2002, I decided to return to University, and studied Physiotherapy at UBC. Since graduating, I have worked both in public and private care, primarily with clients with neurologic conditions. In 2016, I received training in neuromuscular facial therapy and became fascinated in treating clients with Bell’s palsy / Facial palsy. This spurred me to explore concussion management, vestibular dysfunction and temporomadibular disorders, all which frequently go hand in hand with facial palsy. With these new areas of interest, I decided to open my own private mobile and virtual physiotherapy clinic in order to offer treatment services in a manner that best suits the needs of my clients.

I live at the border of beautiful Oak Bay and Victoria with my husband and 3 children. We love hiking, kayaking and exploring the incredible outdoors available to us here on Vancouver Island. When I am not acting as a taxi service for my kids, I enjoy running, reading, quilting and gardening.
